Our services

environmental

As a member of the DGNB, we at HW Ingenieure focus on sustainable action: We promote the development of our employees into DGNB Consultants, use a paperless office and modern, certified buildings such as Kö-Bogen II in Düsseldorf, and obtain material from responsible sources. We are also involved in numerous existing construction projects and are thus making an important contribution to the modernization and sustainability of existing buildings. In our vehicle fleet, we rely primarily on electric and hybrid vehicles and offer our employees an environmentally friendly mobility option with the Deutschlandticket.

Social

At HW Ingenieure, the focus is on social responsibility and a positive working environment. Our barrier-free, central offices offer modern conditions with the option of mobile working, flexible working hours and a flat hierarchy based on the you policy. Diversity and inclusion are an integral part of our culture. Regular team events promote solidarity, and employees benefit from corporate benefits, free drinks, fruit and attractive birthday gifts. Safety is ensured through occupational safety instructions and first aid training. As a supporting member, we also support the Kenyan orphanage UPENDO Children's Village.

corporate governance

In the area of corporate management, HW Ingenieure places particular focus on transparency, integrity and sustainability in order to manage its projects efficiently and responsibly. Clear, comprehensible decision-making processes and regular reporting create trust among all stakeholders. The company also applies strict compliance guidelines to prevent corruption and ensures compliance with time and cost plans through comprehensive risk management. A dedicated management team uses a flat hierarchy and an open culture to promote communication across the organization and ensure long-term success.

ESG case study: Local engagement

In the UPENDO Children's Village in Kenya, employees of HW engineers have the opportunity to actively get involved locally and participate in various projects. Whether constructing buildings, installing water systems or caring for children — the possible uses are varied. Employees such as Goizane and Rümeysa use their expertise to develop sustainable solutions that improve children's lives in the long term. This commitment not only provides valuable experience, but also contributes to the company's ESG goals.
